KUNTZE: Pansy Irene (nee Cook) – passed away peacefully on Monday September 25, 2017.  Pansy Kuntze of Tavistock in her 86th year.

Beloved wife of the late Cecil Kuntze who predeceased her November 29, 2007.  Dear mother of Keith & Darlene of Kitchener and Shirley Roden of Stratford.  Survived by her granddaughter Ashley Roden and her great grandchildren Bridget and Damian, by her niece Connie, by brother-in-law Neil & wife Muriel Kuntze and sister-in-law Mary & Harold Gropp.

Predeceased by her sister Margaret & her husband Laverne Hyde and by her nephew Allen.

A private family graveside service was held at the St. Andrews Presbyterian Cemetery, Shakespeare.  Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Glendinning Funeral Home, Plattsville.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated by the family.


HUMPHREY: Robert Manell

HUMPHREY: Robert Manell – passed away peacefully on Thursday September 15, 2017 at Sakura House, Woodstock.  Bob Humphrey of Bright in his 69th year.

Beloved husband of Linda (nee Currah) whom he married May 22, 1976.  Dear father of Tom & wife Michelle of Arthur, Kerry and husband Andrew Heberling of Sherwood Park, Alberta, Cynthia & Kevin Brezynskie of Springwater and Bethany of Bright.  Sadly missed by his grandchildren Mikayla, Clara, Anthony and Elliot.  Survived by his brother and sisters Verna & Ron Rich of Bothwell, Alice McKim of Kent Bridge, John & Joanne Humphrey of Ridgetown, Maxine & Robert Helmer of Duart.

Predeceased by his parents Robert & Bernice (Maynard) Humphrey and brother-in-law Garry McKim.

Bob was on the Bright Fire Department of 28 years and serving his last 9 years as District Chief.  He was a member of the Former Plattsville Masonic Lodge #178 where he had served as Master of the Lodge and more recently a member of Oak Branch Lodge #261.  He was a past Grand Steward and former District Secretary of Wilson North District and had been a Scout leader in Hickson for 10 years.  Bob retired after 38 years with Union Gas the last 36 at the Bright Pumping Station to a life of farming and fishing.

Relatives and friends may call at the Glendinning Funeral Home 40 William St., Plattsville on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm.  Funeral service will be held at the Peace United Church, Plattsville on Tuesday September 19, 2017 at 2:00pm.  Interment in Ratho Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to VON Sakura House or the Woodstock Hospital Foundation (cheques accepted) would be appreciated by the family.

ZEHR: Mary Catherine

ZEHR: Mary Catherine – passed away peacefully on Thursday September 14, 2017 at her residence Cambridge Country Manor.

Catherine was born in Wilmot Township 81 year ago a daughter of the late William S. Zehr and Druscilla Bender.

Catherine is survived by her brother Nelson Zehr and his wife Barbara of Wellesley. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews and by many family members of the Jutzi and Roth families.

Predeceased by her sister Laurene Roth.

A public Graveside Service will be conducted at the East Zorra Mennonite Church Cemetery16th Line on Sunday September 17, 2017 at 1:30pm followed by a reception in the church basement.

In lieu of flowers donations to the East Zorra Mennonite Church or the Cambridge Country Manor would be appreciated by the family.

Eenkooren: Annie

Eenkooren: Annie – passed away peacefully on Monday September 4, 2017 at Freeport Hospital, Kitchener, Annie Eenkooren of New Dundee in her 84th year.

Beloved wife of Duke Eenkooren who she married on April 30, 1955 and they celebrated over 62 years of marriage. Loving mother of Donald of Ottawa, Lydia & husband Don Lingelbach of Wellesley and David & wife Sharon of Shingletown.  Sadly missed by her grandchildren Scott, Brian, Laura, and Lindsay.  Annie is survived by her brothers and sister John and Rita DeWys of New Zealand; Harry and Corry DeWys of Stratford; Joe and Audrey DeWys of Stratford; Mary and Henry Sterkenburg of St. Marys; George and Sandra DeWys of St. Marys; John and Sharon DeWys of Stratford, Pete DeWys of Hensall and Dianne DeWys of Zurich.
