ROUNDS: Jean Marie (nee Kempthorne) – passed away peacefully on Thursday November 23, 2017 at the People Care, Tavistock.  Jean Rounds formerly of Drumbo in her 74th year.

Beloved wife of the late Jim Rounds who predeceased her January 4, 2004.  Loving mother of David & Lori of Goderich, Doug of Innerkip and Bill & Kim of RR#1 Drumbo.  Sadly missed by her grandchildren Zack & April, Allan & Maddy, Matthew, Austin, Marissa and Jamie.  Survived by her brother-in-law Charlie Rounds and wife Bonnie of Wolverton.

Predeceased by her sisters Velda & husband Doug Lamont, Laura & husband Ed Dedman, Isabel, brother Doug Kempthorne and sister-in-law Flossie & husband Norm Clayton.

Relatives & friends may call at the Glendinning Funeral Home, 40 William Street, Plattsville on Sunday from 1-4 p.m.  Funeral Service will be conducted in the Funeral Home on Monday November 27, 2017 at 1:00pm.  Interment in Wolverton Cemetery.

TEW: Elizabeth Carrie (nee Hesse)

TEW: Elizabeth Carrie (nee Hesse) – passed away peacefully with her family at her side at her residence, the Nithview Community, New Hamburg on Saturday November 18, 2017.  Elizabeth Tew formerly of Washington, ON in her 98th year.

Beloved wife of the late James Tew who predeceased her in 1983.  Loving mother of Bryan & wife Denise of RR#4 Bright and Joan Tew & husband George Hobbs of New Dundee.  Sadly missed by her grandchildren Christopher, Michael & Pamela, Krystina, Adam, Daniel and by great granddaughter Addison.  Survived by her sister Audrey Potter of Woodstock.

Predeceased by her grandson Jonathon, sister Jean Morris & her husband Alvin and by brother-in-law Norm Potter.

Relatives & Friends may call at the Glendinning Funeral Home, 40 William St. Plattsville on Monday from 6-9pm.  Private family burial will take place in Chesterfield Cemetery. HOUSE: John E. (Ted)

HOUSE: John E. (Ted) – July 23, 1938 – November 16, 2017 – passed away peacefully at his home in Plattsville, surrounded by his loving family after a lengthy illness.

Beloved husband of Patricia (Woolcott) who he shared 52 years of marriage. Dear father of Eleanor & husband Glenn Morgan of Waterloo and David & wife Tanya of Innerkip.  Sadly missed by his grandchildren Hunter (Brooke Merideth), Cassidy, Matthew, Axel, Brennan and Connor.  Ted is survived by his brother Larry& wife Gail, of RR#1 Bright, his sister Marilyn & husband Joel Rock of Woodstock, by his mother-in-law Jean Woolcott of Kitchener, by brothers and sisters -in-law Donald Woolcott and wife Ferne of New Hamburg, Ted Woolcott of RR#1 Bright, Donna Woolcott of Toronto, Margaret Woolcott and husband Tim Fleming of Waterloo, and by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ted had worked 36 years at B.F. Goodrich, 10 years at Baxter Transport, 10 years at Oxford Small Business Support Centre Inc.  He was a volunteer Firefighter with the Plattsville Fire Department for 29 years.  He was a 40 year and founding member of the Canadian Dove Association and was a member of the Peace United Church.

BECKER: Lana Theresa (nee Roote) – passed away on Tuesday November 14, 2017 at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital.  Lana Becker of RR#2 Petersburg in her 70th year.

Beloved wife of the late Russel Becker who predeceased her January 25, 2010.  Loving mother of Gary and wife Amy, Wanda and husband Scott Harley all of Plattsville, Kathy Becker of RR#2 Petersburg, Billie Jo Becker of New Hamburg, Serena of Kitchener and Lyndon of Kitchener.  Sadly missed by her grandchildren Hunter, Rochelle, Hawkins, Kayla, Melissa, Amelia (Travis Thompson), Reese, Kaliope and by great grandchildren Hayleigh, Shyanne and Mackenzie.  Survived by her brothers Stan Roote and wife Judy of New Hamburg, Sanderson Semple & wife Kim of Orangeville and sister Pearl Long & husband Edgar of Markdale. Remembered by her special nieces Celina & Mary.

Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Ella, Norm, Dan, Melvin, Gerald, Rena, Carmen, Bob and Sharon.

The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital for all the wonderful care show to Lana during her stays.

HOGENDOORN-MURRAY: Karla – following a strong fight with many health complications, Karla lost her battle and passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton on Friday November 10, 2017, Karla Hogendoorn-Murray of Wellesley in her 36th year.

Beloved wife of Jeremy Murray who she married July 20, 2013.  Loving daughter of Kees & Tineke Hogendoorn of Baden.  Dear sister of Kees Jr. & his wife Amanda of Baden.  She will be remembered by her mother and father-in-law Doug and Linda Murray of Plattsville, by her brother-in-law Adam & Stephanie Murray of Bright and sister-in-law Jennifer & husband Terry Dean of Simcoe.  Sadly missed by her nephews Cole & Quinton Hogendoorn, Jase Murray & niece Payton Murray.  Survived by her grandparents Gerrit & Dini Treur of Holland and by Jeremy’s grandparents Bill & Joyce Murray and Hilda Swartzentruber all of Tavistock.
