Joyce McDonaldMcDONALD: Eva Joyce (nee Rennick) – passed away peacefully on Friday March 7, 2014 at the Stratford General Hospital. Joyce McDonald of Tavistock was born 80 years ago in Woodstock, ON. The youngest daughter of Stanley & Ada (Sturdy) Rennick, of Bright, ON.
Beloved wife of Bruce McDonald whom she married March 22, 1968. Loving mother of Marni & husband Ted Klaver and, Colleen Markus all of Red Deer, Alberta , Cindy McKenna of Paisley, Ron Carson & wife Louise of Kirkland Lake and Peggy & husband John Verbakel of Bright, Karen and husband Alan Round of Sarnia and Warren McDonald and wife Helene of London, Sadly missed by her 18 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Betty and husband Jack Logan of Delta, B.C. and brother-in-law Ed Fenn of North Bay.
Predeceased by her granddaughter Meghan Markus, her son-in-law Joe McKenna, her brother Jack (WWII), sisters Hazel & husband Jim Duff, Laura Fenn, Edna & husband Bill Baird, Joan & husband Bob Scott.
Joyce worked at Canada Sand Paper in Plattsville and Toronto for 15 years. After moving to Alberta, she became elected to Municipal Government and served on Council in the Village of Linden for 15 years, 12 years as the Mayor. She was involved in many organizations and Boards both locally and Provincially. After retirement, she and Bruce moved to Red Deer, Alberta and then back to Ontario, Settling at the Village Manor in Tavistock, ON.

A family graveside service will be conducted at the Chesterfield Cemetery in the spring. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the Glendinning Funeral Home, 40 William St. Plattsville. Donations to Sakura House or the Stratford General Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
