WALLBANK: William Arthur “Bill” – passed away with his family at his side on Monday July 23, 2018 at his residence Nithview Home, New Hamburg, Bill Wallbank formerly of Plattsville in his 93rd year.

Beloved husband of the late Betty Wallbank who predeceased him September 3, 2013.  Dear father of Graham & wife Janny of New Hamburg, Susan Maher (2013) and Denise & husband Len de Jonge of Plattsville.  Sadly missed by his grandchildren Dan & Lindsay, Jamie & Kristen, Jamz & Amber, Danielle, Stephanie, Len and Kasey & Alex and by his great grandchildren Linc, Kyla, Desmond, Cecelia, Avery and Maddy. He is survived by family and friends in the United Kingdom.

Bill joined the Royal Air Force in 1943 and served in the 100th Squadron of the No.1 Bomber Group and flew on the last bombing raid of the war.  Bill was a 50 year member of Legion Branch #532 New Hamburg.

A private family service will take place at the Chesterfield Cemetery.

ELSEGOOD: Wayne Lionel

ELSEGOOD: Wayne Lionel – passed away with his daughters by his side on Sunday June 24, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener, Wayne Elsegood in his 73rd year.

Beloved husband of the late Cheryl (Cluney) who predeceased him June 28, 2010).

Dear father of Shelly & husband Craig Abernethy of Cambridge, Vicki Elsegood & Tom Jacques of Wolf Island.  Sadly missed by his grandchildren Sara and Curtis Abernethy.  He is survived by his brother Jack & wife Diana of Ariss, by his sisters Sandra Ewing and Brenda Elsegood both of Kitchener.

Predeceased by his brothers Jerry & wife Jannette and Donald and by his sister Joan Schaefer.

A private family interment will take place at the Mt. View Cemetery, Cambridge. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Glendinning Funeral Home, Plattsville 519-684-7409.

LAMBERT: Kathleen A. (nee Wortley)

LAMBERT: Kathleen A. (nee Wortley) – passed away peacefully at Queensway Long Term Care, Hensall on Wednesday July 11, 2018. Kay Lambert formerly of Bright in her 97th year.

Beloved wife of the late Maurice Lambert who predeceased her May 20, 1996.   Loving mother of the late Les (1988) & his wife Nancy Kauffman-Lambert of Cambridge, Daniel of Seaforth, Rod & wife Julia of Ithica, N.Y. and the late Nancy (2007) & her late husband David McCormick (2016).  She will be sadly missed by her 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Predeceased also by her brother Garry Wortley and his wife Luva, and by sister Doreen and her husband Gordon Feir.

Kay was a longtime member of the former Bright United Church and more recently the Peace United Church, Plattsville.

Relatives and friends may call at the Glendinning Funeral Home, 40 William Street, Plattsville, on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Monday July 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Peace United Church, Plattsville. Interment in Chesterfield Cemetery

WARD: Jeffrey Richard Michael

WARD: Jeffrey Richard Michael – suddenly on Monday July 2, 2018 Jeffrey Ward of Norwich in his 30th year.

Dear son of Brenda & Brent of Oxford Center and Jeff & Cindy of Woodstock.  Loving father of Blaise and Oaklyn.  Dear brother of Tyler, Brad, Tanner, Andrew, Devon, Trent, Carter and Hayley.  Sadly missed by his grandparents Dick Ward and Margie Fulton of Bright, Emilie Booker of Oxford Centre and Jim Booker of Woodstock.  Jeffrey is survived by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and his best friend Eddie Tichelaar.

Predeceased by his grandmother Kathie Ward, uncle Scott Ward, aunt Patty Arsenault and grandfather Ross MacAinsh.

A private family service will be conducted at the Glendinning Funeral Home, 40 William St., Plattsville.  A celebration of Jeffrey’s life will take place at the UNIFOR Hall 126, Beale St., Woodstock on Sunday July 8, 2018 from 1-4p.m. Interment will take place later in the Chesterfield Cemetery.

If desired, memorial donations to Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated by the family.
