BUCKLEY: Douglas – passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Tuesday July 18, 2017 at the Woodstock General Hospital.  Douglas Buckley of RR#1 Plattsville in his 80th year.

Loving husband of Sandra (nee White) whom he married March 31, 1962.  Dear father of Tracy Buckley and his wife Belinda Arsenault of Orleans, ON.

Douglas retired after many years at Budd Automotive.

Predeceased by his daughter Samantha Buckley and his grandson Adam.

Relatives & friends are invited to a memorial service at the Glendinning Funeral Home, 40 William Street, Plattsville on Saturday July 22, 2017 at 11:00am.  Reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ALS Society of Ontario (cheques accepted) and would be appreciated by the family.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Woodstock General Hospital for all the wonderful care shown to Doug.



HOFSTETTER: Clarence – passed away peacefully on Monday July 10, 2017 at his residence Nithview Home, New Hamburg.  Clarence Hofstetter formerly of Innerkip in his 91st year.

Beloved husband of Rose (nee Ellis) who he married December 18, 1948.  Dear father of Dolores & husband Neil Hofstetter of New Hamburg, Ruth & husband Keith Howard of Shakespeare, Norman & wife Linda of Novar and Joyce & husband Leigh Young of Princeton.  Sadly missed by his 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  Survived by his brothers Robert & wife Pat of Baden, Brian & wife Donna of Dorchester, by sisters Laura Deans of Cambridge, Ruby vonFarra of Kitchener and by brother-in-law Burt Currie of New Hamburg. Remembered by Rose’s family Arthur & Marilyn Ellis of Plattsville, Norma Sevier of Princeton and Linda & John Hastings of Elmira

Predeceased by his brothers Lloyd, Lorne, Kenneth, Morris, sisters Mable & husband Art Storer, Hazel & husband Ralph Otto, Kathleen Currie and by brothers-in-law Robert Deans, Wally vonFarra, George Dahms and Leslie Sevier.

Relatives and friends may call at the Glendinning Funeral Home, 40 William St., Plattsville on Wednesday July 12, 2017 from 12:30 – 1:45pm followed by the funeral service in the Chapel at 2:00pm.  Interment in Wilmot Centre Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stoke Foundation or the Parkinson Society (cheques accepted) would be appreciated by the family.

TOTH: Ruth Marlene (nee: Love) – at her residence with family by her side on July 4, 2017, Ruth Toth of Tillsonburg in her 71st year.

Beloved wife of James “Jim” Toth whom she married on October 24, 1965.  Loving mother of Stacey & husband Scott Butler of Delhi and Jamie of Tillsonburg.  Sadly missed by her grandchildren Tyler, Braydon and Jaxon. Survived by her brother Ross Love and wife Charlene of Calgary and Sandy & husband Bob Parcharidis of Toronto and by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Cecil & Hazel (Hartley) Love and by sister-in-law Sharon Love.

Relatives and friends may call at the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front Street, Port Rowan on Thursday July 6, 2017 from 7-9pm and Friday July 7, 2017 from 11:30-1:15pm. Followed by the Funeral Service in the Clark Chapel of the funeral home at 1:30pm.
