SCHMITT: Marjorie Gladys (nee Ellis) (Wilgress)- passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 6, 2016 at Bankside Terrace, Kitchener, Marjorie Schmitt in her 78th year.
Beloved wife of the late Joe Schmitt who predeceased her March 2, 1995. Loving mother of Debbie & husband Jeff Baer of Plattsville, Jim Wilgress & wife Wanda of Waterloo, Donnie Wilgress & friend Katherine of New Hamburg, Barry Wilgress & wife Teresa of Kitchener. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Matt & Amie, Trevor, Ashley, Jaime & Andrew, Samantha & James, Amanda & Jeff, Katey & Ryan, Jonathan, Jennifer, Jeremy and great grandchildren Benjamin, Paityn, Kiara, Sasha & Caitlyn. Dear sister of Shirley & husband Gil Johnson of New Hamburg and Rob Ellis of Ayr, sister-in-law of Mike Harris of Drumbo and Sally Ellis of Plattsville. Marjorie is remembered by the Schmitt family, Michael & wife Deb and their daughter Kateland, Dan and his children Natalie & David. Also remembered by David Wilgress.

Relatives and friends may call at the Glendinning Funeral Home 40 William St., Plattsville on Thursday from 7-9pm. Funeral service will be conducted in the Peace United Church, Plattsville on Friday December 9, 2016 at 1:00pm. Interment later in Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.

ROBINSON, Robert Leslie “Les” – July 13, 1930 to November 29, 2016.
Les passed away at St Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener after a brief illness. He was a son of the late Abraham and Margaret (Bell) Robinson. He was predeceased by a son, Carl, brothers Harry and George and a sister, June.
Left to remember are his son Gerald (Gary) and wife Sharon, granddaughters Avery and Holly; daughter Jan and husband Terry Ofremchuk, granddaughters Nicole (Matt Weir) and Melissa (Sean Coffin) and great-grandsons Jaeger, Leo and Bronson Weir, and Hayden Coffin. Also survived by David Robinson (brother), Joyce Robinson, Patricia Macleod-Robinson (late Carl) and Carol Robinson (late Harry).
During his life Les was a certified jeweler, and a real estate broker, but spent most of his career in the food industry working for companies such as Campbell’s and RJR and Still Meadow Farms, living and travelling across Canada.
Following Les’s wishes, cremation has taken place and his ashes will be interred in Chesterfield Cemetery during a private family service.
Memorial donations in Les’s memory to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the Glendinning Funeral Home, Plattsville 519-684-7409.
FAULKNER: John Douglas – passed away suddenly at his residence on Wednesday November 30, 2016. Doug Faulkner of Tavistock in his 48th year.
Doug is survived by his mother Mary Faulkner of Tavistock, by his sister Beth Faulkner and Brent Douglas of Woodstock, by his niece Megan Faulkner and Robert Marshall and their son Cohen all of London, by his aunts Kathy Mutch and Jean McCartney and by his cousin Erin Mutch.
Predeceased by his father Willard Faulkner and by his grandparents John & Flora McCartney.
A private family service was conducted at the Glendinning Funeral Home 40 William St. Plattsville.
