SCOTT: Walter Leslie – passed away peacefully on Thursday December 24, 2015 at the Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland in his 85th year.
Father of Valerie Summers & husband Scott Ralph of Oakville and Cameron Summers and his wife Lisa of Toronto. Grandfather of Matthew, Evan, Julia and Victoria. Survived by his brother Russell Scott & wife Grace of Kitchener and sister-in-law Phyllis Scott of New Hamburg.
Predeceased by his parents John L. & Amy Scott, brothers Tom & Gordon Scott and sisters Bessie Scott and Ruby Green.
Relatives & friends may call at the Glendinning Funeral Home, 40 William Street, Plattsville on Thursday December 31, 2015 from 10am until 11:45 p.m. followed by the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 12:00noon. Interment later in Chesterfield Cemetery.

SWARTZ, Mark J., passed away on Wednesday December 16, 2015 at the age of 54.
Mark was an avid cyclist and cross-country skier who felt most at home when immersed in nature. He built recumbent bikes, was committed to environmental sustainability, and worked in the field of quality assurance.
Loving husband for 22 years to Pam Salisbury, who predeceased him in January 2014, Mark’s memory will be cherished by his parents Harry and Helen Swartz (Kitchener), his sisters and brothers-in-law Judy and Ken Dyck (Kitchener) and Janet and Marv Yantzi (Tavistock), his brother and sister-in-law Paul and Cathy Swartz (Kitchener), and his seven nephews and nieces. He will be warmly remembered by Pam’s family and by his friends, particularly Angela Roorda, who was at Mark’s side throughout his final year. Mark was a gentle soul. He never expected to get cancer, but when he did he met it with courage and grace.
A public Memorial Service will be conducted at the East Zorra Mennonite Church 677044 16th Line Tavistock on Friday December 18, 2015 at 11:00am. Pastor Ray Martin officiating. Interment will have taken place prior to the Service in the Church Cemetery.

A graveside service will be conducted at the Chesterfield Cemetery RR#1 Bright on Sunday December 20, 2015 at 2:00pm.
