YOUNGBLUT: Sheila May (nee: Dougall) – passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday April 28, 2015. Sheila Youngblut of RR#1 New Dundee in her 81st year.
Beloved wife of Harold Youngblut whom she married October 17, 1953. Loving mother of Lisa Dittrich of RR#1 New Dundee and John & wife Linda of New Hamburg. Cherished grandmother to Aliesha, Evan, Blair (Cait) and Devin and great grandmother to Tauren. She is survived by her brother Don Dougall and wife June of Sauble Beach and brother-in-law Bob Smith of Woodstock and by her many nieces and nephews.
Her two greatest loves in life were her family and her desire to help others. After being diagnosed with cancer thirteen years ago, she spent endless hours on the computer researching whatever she could on the disease, both medical and alternative. She reached out to people all over the world often getting hundreds of emails a day. She touched many lives. May she rest in peace without pain, knowing she was loved. Special thank you to the wonderful, caring and compassionate staff and doctor at the Clinic. You are all angels on this earth.
Predeceased by her brother Dave Dougall & wife Marion and sister Joanne Smith.
Relatives and Friends are invited to a Celebration of Sheila’s life on Sunday May 17, 2015 at the Plattsville Curling Club from 1 until 4pm.

Passed away peacefully at the Sakura House, Woodstock on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at the age of 67. Beloved husband of Michelle Dyne. He will be remembered by his large extended family, friends and his loyal canine companion, Riley. Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Norma McNally. Cremation has taken place.

DIAMOND: Mildred Jean (nee Hastings) – passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 21, 2015 at Nithview Retirement Home, New Hamburg. Mildred Diamond formerly of the Bright and Chesterfield in her 97th year.
She was born on Glen Lee Farm on March 29, 1919 in Blenheim Township, Oxford County to the late Stuart & May (Woolcott) Hastings. Beloved wife of the late Maurice Diamond who predeceased her December 16, 1985. Loving mother of Ron & wife Diana of Plattsville, Carol & husband John Vipond of Oakville, Glen & wife Evelyn of New Hamburg and the late Ken Diamond who predeceased her July 29, 1973. Mildred will be sadly missed by her cherished grandchildren Edward & Marlene Diamond, Christine & Michael Harris, Jeffery Diamond; Gregory & Kauna Vipond, Alison & Nick Brett, Melanie & Adam Perry, Jennifer Vipond; Randy Diamond, Keith & Becky Diamond, Tim Diamond, Heather & Tyler Shantz and by her great grandchildren Victoria, Bentley; Felicity, Wesley, Kieran, Elaina, Tatum; Ashlyn, Stephen and Mila. Survived by her sister-in-law Isobel Hastings of Kitchener and by her many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her brothers Gordon Hastings (2008), Harold Hastings (2006) and his wife Margaret (2013).
Relatives & friends are invited to visit at the Glendinning Funeral Home 40 William St., Plattsville on Sunday from 1-5pm. Funeral Service will be conducted at the Peace United Church, Plattsville on Monday April 27, 2015 at 11:00am. Interment in Chesterfield Cemetery.
